The secret is almost inherent to human beings. From the societies of hunters in the Great Plains or the Amazon jungle to the technological complex society of modernity, always have existed secret societies, or reserved knowledge..

All the kingdoms, Empires, tribes or republics has always been a natural interest in keeping information out of the reach of others. Today, in the middle of the era of information, still are many things that are hidden. Today, many regions are taboo to the outside observer, some seems not to be available on Google Earth. Despite the fact that it is easier to recognize these places as mysteries, with respect to the times in which they didn't even know of its existence, the truth is that we have no idea of what is happening there and, at least, appear to be important things.

Bohemian Grove

We start our rank with one of the lesser known places and yet, the most important in terms of exclusivity. It's the forest or Grove of Bohemia, a rural area about 1,100 hectares located in the Bohemia Avenue in Monte Rio, California (United States).

Their existence recalls a little of the famous Club of Bilderberg, as each year-mid July, is organized in the place a meeting that involves a lot of the more powerful and important characters. The Guests include artists, businessmen and political leaders. Not much is known of the Grove. the only ones that can acces are the members, although the guests can arrive, these tend to be powerful mens. The Club is symbolized by an OWL,  which symbolizes the knowledge, and has been accused of Pagan or pseudo Pagans, though this last has never been shown

Pine Gap

Pine Gap is a complex located in the middle of the Australian desert dedicated to monitor the satellite spies that pass on that point by the atmosphere land. As a result, the flight of aircraft over the area is completely prohibited.

Thanks to leaks of Edward Snowden today is known a little more about the operation of this Center: particularly that became part of the surveillance PRISM project dedicated to spy on political leaders from other countries, including allies of the United States. Apart from this, it is known that this facility is used as base of important espionage carried out in the region of the Pacific and the Indian Ocean, from countries in the Middle East to China and North Korea. It is not itself a specific place (is pretty broad), but hardly this list could be complete without the enigmatic country of the Korean peninsula. Since the rise to power of communism are few foreigners who have been able to visit the country, and although currently there is a travel agency and tourism, in this place is not allowed take pictures or communicate in any way with the outside world.

It says much of North Korea, but little is known essentially. His regime is famous by its violations systematic to the human rights and by a economic model that has led to the country to the famine in more than one occasion. But they are really like that? Some come to think that in fact the conditions are better that its shown and it misrepresents the reality.
In any case, North Korea is one of the most secrets and hidden places from the world

Iron Mountain

It called "mountain of iron" is really a company dedicated to the management and destruction. Yes, destruction of information that sells its services to privates, among them many of the more rich companies of the world. Its best-known database is in Boyers, Pensilvania., near the city of Butler... and is one of the most guarded places in the world.

It's an abandoned limestone mine that began to be used as a bunker beyond in 1954: since then has become a true fortress that hides many of the most important secrets of the world... as well as some banalities (Bill Gates has there his photographs of Corbis, a company that he founded in 1989). To gain access you must pass through a very guarded security post, enter the cave and descend over 22 floors in an environment fully controlled. There are the secret of the mountain of iron, safe of terrorist attacks, armed raids and even of an nuclear explosion.

By its very nature, Iron Mountain never reveals anything that keeps. if they do, they would be without business.
